HARTFORD, Vt. (WCAX) – It’s that time of year again, for the Quechee Hot Air Balloon Festival.
“We are going to take a ride in a balloon tonight. I always wanted to go up in a hot air balloon. I always wanted to see them,” Connecticut resident Debra Powley said.
Debbie Powley drove almost four and a half hours to come to the Quechee Balloon Festival from Connecticut.
She says she’s never been in one before, and since hot air balloon rides are so expensive, she thought the festival might be the perfect opportunity to fly in one.
