Michael Olin

A red, white, and blue balloon with the text "re/max" in the middle.

Mike’s aviation journey began in 1988 when he earned his fixed-wing pilot’s license. In the late 1990s, he experienced his first hot air balloon ride and quickly developed a deep passion for the sport. After 15 years of crewing, Mike fulfilled his dream of owning his own balloon and added a Lighter Than Air rating to his pilot’s license. He named his balloon “Heaven Sent” as a heartfelt tribute to his parents and sister, who now watch over him from Heaven. Ballooning has evolved into a family passion, with Mike passing on his love of flying by teaching his son how to fly. He now shares his knowledge with friends, inspiring the next generation of balloonists.
