Jim Regan is the owner & chief pilot for CT Ballooning, LLC. He started ballooning in 1986 by crewing for a local pilot and earned his pilot’s certificate in 1991. Jim’s love of ballooning reaches all aspects of the sport – from simple fun flights to competition flying, commercial passenger flights, and flying special shape balloons. He was a regular pilot of the Old McDonald’s Farm balloon and Gus T. Guppy for many years, and he owned and operated Claw’D the Crazy Crab balloon for 8 years as well. Jim has flown balloons all over the U.S. and has also flown in Canada, Mexico, and New Zealand. Jim enjoys flying in the Quechee area as the hills and mountains are beautiful from aloft, but also a challenge to fly in.
